Bookmatic AMH is an intelligent library automation solution for returns, sorting and material logistics.
The solution is suitable for both small libraries and large multi-branch library systems that want to streamline returns, improve material handling efficiency and automate daily workflows.
Bookmatic AMH automates the return process from start to finish. The customer returns an item to the machine. Based on information received from the library system, the machine sorts the item to the correct sorting location, for example by department, shelf location or branch.
Built around the needs of the library
Bookmatic AMH consists of Indoor Inlet, Outdoor Inlet and Staff Inlet return openings designed for different use cases, as well as conveyor solutions, sorting modules, turntables and various return box and trolley options. Return opening solutions designed for outdoor use enable secure 24/7 returns, also outside the library’s opening hours.
One of the widest return openings on the market also allows larger items to be returned smoothly. The overall system can be built according to the library’s needs and can also be expanded later as operations change.
Bookmatic AMH can also be integrated with robotics. Robots can automatically collect full return boxes, transport materials between buildings and floors, and deliver them to the correct destinations without staff involvement. Quiet operation, ergonomic use and gentle handling of items have been key design principles for the system.
